Coffee is a ritual important the world over, and most people don't think about it very hard. But there's a lot going on in the cup, and we'll help you taste it.

We will be transparent and honest about what you are buying. We will not trick you into buying stale beans by flavoring them with syrups. We will not trick you into buying whatever beans we didn't quite ruin as "Vienna Roast."

We are data nerds, having engineering and science backgrounds. We pour-over the logs from the roaster, examining the delicate curves of the Rate of Rise in the bean temp for precise control over results. We strive to understand the beans on a molecular level, to better understand and preserve the volatile compounds that provide the depth of flavors only precisely roasted coffee can deliver.
